Our 12th annual DFW Fiber Fest will be April 7, 8 and 9, 2017, and we will once again be in Irving, Texas, at the Irving Convention Center in Las Colinas.  We are happy to be able to bring back some of our favorite teachers from previous years as well as introduce some teachers who will be new to our event.  Our Headliners this year will be Denise Bell, Robyn Chachula, Galina Khmeleva, Melissa Leapman, Judith MacKenzie, Clara Parkes, Stephanie Pearl-McPhee and Carol Sulcoski.

Local and regional teachers will include Molly Andries, Mary Berry, Joi Chupp, Sonja Hartley, Jill Holbrook, Yohannah Klingensmith, Kelli Ladwig, Darlene Megli, Lesley Anne Robinson, Lisa Smith and Lise Wilson.

Special Thursday Class Session

In addition to our normal Friday-Saturday-Sunday class schedule, we are very happy to be able to announce that we will have a special 6-hour Class Session on Thursday, April 6.  Henry and Roy Clemes of Clemes & Clemes Inc. will be on-site to teach their "Exploring the Drum Carder" class.  This class will be offered from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with a 1 hour break for lunch from 12-1.  Because of the shortened lunch session, the fee for this class session will include lunch.

Friday Night Event

Our Annual Friday Night Event will feature a talk by author and Knitter's Review founder Clara Parkes.  This event will be held at the Dallas Marriott Las Colinas - our Event Hotel.  Tickets for this evening will go on sale in Early March 2017.  They will NOT be available through the registration system.  People registering for at least 15 hours of our classes will be invited to attend the Friday Night Event as our guests.
